After hanging out and talking comics with =scrotumnose's friend Mihk Vergara (~juanquestions), who writes for Project Runway Philippines, I ran across Katipunan to meet up with an old friend Dan (~sirom) who, as it turns out, joined forces with Rhea Alarcon, Dang Sering, Berns De Leon, and Marielle Nadal to form Ideals Creatives, Inc. Which IMO is way cooler than Voltron.

They're a non-profit design studio offering graphic design services for other non-profit organizations and advocacies. (I hope I worded that right...)

I might have dragged her away from an important org meeting for this. She was very nice about the whole ordeal.


Sadly I wasn't able to catch ~kiksology and ~sabotenshi and it kinda rained hard so I had to bolt out of UPCFA. I then headed off to check out the hotel bundled with the flight I got, and to my surprise it was in the middle of a red light district in Makati. After spending a night, I bailed out of that place. One of the cards on the night stand even warned the hotel guests to beware of "unscrupulous" people posing as hotel attendants. I'd say that's a clear sign I was somewhere I wouldn't want to be in. 8|

Anyway, that's it for now. I still have a week to be human and do human stuff so I guess there's more pics and stories to come. Thanks to everyone for chatting and doodling for me! 8)
