But seriously, after a hectic workaholic roller coaster ride of a year, I've managed to slow down a bit and fix some personal life stuff here in Southeast Asia. And while I don't seem to be making things better for myself, at least I'm trying.

And cheers to all of those who try no matter what.

P.S. Food here is great. Anthony Bourdain was right.

P.P.S. Is there any unwritten walking ettiquette here that I might have overlooked? I always find myself plowing through herds of people going to the opposite direction. I always stay left when I see people staying left, but that's not always the case...

i think i will try roti prata today. i know a few people here who have been recommending the same thing. seems like a sure shot.

so far, i've only tried bah kuh teh, soup dumpling, satay, and of course chicken rice. but i've yet to try the tian tian chicken rice from maxwell road. they say that's the real deal.

i'll keep beef kway teow. i've never seen it, but i've seen char kway teow. 8)
