Singapore was great. 8) I had highs and lows, but it was mostly great. I had really great food, and I finally had closure on some personal matters. Oh, and I met *
kidchan in person in the EOY convention thingie in Singapore Expo. I got her awesome artbook called "Muted Colours". Really inspiring stuff in here.
And now I'm back here in the Philippines. I'd say I'm currently a bit "rudderless, but still maintaining flight".
I've a lot of backlogged work lingering in the back of my mind in the midst of having the privilege of some much needed chill time with old and new friends and not to mention long lost friends that I haven't seen for more than a decade. Shout out to Peps and Pao. I really needed this break. I've worked too much for too long, that I can't help feeling guilty for taking breaks like these. Like I'm gonna pay dearly for all of these when I get back to Chicago.
I've also been considering to move back here for good. I love Chicago, but I realized that I've got a stronger sense of belonging in this place, which might really be a good thing for my sanity.
